The 8th beta release of SNAP is ready for download. Again this updates comes with many fixes and improvements, we have considered several comments and issues which were sent to us via the forum. This release contains the SMOS Toolbox for the first time. We also performed a major Java API revision and we were forced to change the SNAP configuration. If you encounter any problems with this new version, please consider removing your SNAP user data which is found in the “.snap” directory of your home folder.
To get this new version, it is required to uninstall the previous version of SNAP and request a participation to the beta test programme
from the download page: http://step.esa.int/main/download. If you have already applied for the beta test programme you can reuse the download links from the mail which was sent to you.
