New release of Sen2Cor 2.4.0 is available

Dear Users,

we are pleased to provide Sen2Cor Release 2.4.0 under:
http://step.esa.int/main/third-party-plugins-2/sen2cor/

Due to the numerous installation problems which have been reported in the past, which are mostly related to evolutionary shifts between the different Sen2Cor releases and its Anaconda runtime environment and/or its associated tools, we have now developed a series of stand-alone installers for the three operating systems Linux, Windows and macOS. All three versions require a 64-bit platform.

After download and installation, these packages will work fully autonomously, isolated, and do not need any further installation of Anaconda, GDAL, OpenJPEG or any other python packages.

Although this is the first official release of the standalone installers, we strongly recommend testing these simplified installation first, as it will prominently reduce the installation
overhead in contrast to a full Anaconda installation, especially as changes in the interfaces of anaconda packages might occur after the release of a Sen2Cor version.

If you observe any issues during installation or usage of the standalone installers, please reply to this thread, with an explicit information on which operating system the issue occurred. Please, do not open a new thread, as it will be difficult for us to track the problems, if multiple threads with the same topics exist.
