SNAP 5.0 released

The SNAP development team is pleased to announce a new SNAP release.

The different installers for the supported platforms can be downloaded.
Beside bug fixes and improvements, several new features are waiting for you. For example

SNAP

  • The SNAP development concentrated in this release on bug fixes and improvements.

Sentinel-1 Toolbox

  • Backgeocoding can handle multiple slave images
  • Kompsat-5 reader
  • StaMPS export
  • S1B orbit files handled
  • Fast individual downloads of orbit files from archive and QC website
  • Ship detection, windfields, oilspill detection export as shape vectors

Sentinel-2 Toolbox

  • Support for PSD 14 Test product
  • New RGB Profiles
  • Tile Index Band
  • Reflectance to Radiance Processor
  • Sentinel-2 Water Processor – MCI
  • Sen2Three processor integrated via the Standalone Tools Adapter

Sentinel-3 Toolbox

  • AATSR Regridding Tool
  • Rayleigh Correction Processor for OLCI and MERIS
  • OWT Processor
  • FUB Processor
  • IDEPIX extended for more sensors

SMOS-BOX

  • Update DDDB to support schema version 7.3.0 formatted files

PROBA-V Toolbox

  • Introduced the PROBA-V Toolbox
  • Contains the PROBA-V reader for L2A and L3 synthesis

  5. Thanks. But sorry, I have to correct the date. Probably it will take till Tuesday.
    We go through some more testing to verify that the experience with SNAP is the best we can offer.
    It just turned out that there is really a fix to be done. So we can probably release on Tuesday.
