PROBA-V was developed as both a follow-up to the 15-year SPOT-VEGETATION mission, as well as a preparation for the recently launched ESA Sentinel-3 land and ocean observation satellite mission.<\/p>\n<p>SNAP and the Proba-V Toolbox are user tools which <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esa.int\/SPECIALS\/ESRIN_SITE\/\" rel=\"noopener\">ESA\/ESRIN<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/remotesensing.vito.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VITO Remote Sensing<\/a> are providing free of charge to the Earth Observation Community.
