KOMPSAT-5 (Korean Multi-Purpose Satellite) is a commercial SAR mission operated by KARI and distributed by SIIS. Kompsat-5 will be followed by a second SAR satellite Kompsat-6 in 2020.

Frequency Band: X-band
Acquisition Modes: Stripmap, ScanSAR, Spotlight
Product Types: SCS, GEC, WEC, GTC, WTC
Polarizations: All modes are Single Pol (HH, HV, VV, VH).
Opening products: Products can be opened by selecting the *_aux.xml file.
