Advanced Land Observing Satellite 2 (ALOS 2) is a Japanese Earth-observation satellite, developed by JAXA.

Operational: 2014-05-14 to present

Frequency Band: L-band

Acquisition Modes: Stripmap, ScanSAR, Spotlight

Product Types: L1.1 (SLC), L1.5 (GRD), L2.1 (terrain corrected), L3.1 (Image quality-corrected)

Polarizations: Single Pol (HH), Dual Pol and Full Pol (HH+HV+VV+VH)

Opening products: Products can be opened by selecting the Volume file. Opening zipped products (*.zip) directly is also supported.

Special Considerations: Products can be ordered in CEOS and GeoTiff formats.

For InSAR processing, SLC products in CEOS format should be ordered.
